How to use Virtual Hogwarts

1) Before you use any service on the message board (ie, owl post, gringotts) please read the How to topic, it will really help you out.

2) Right now, buying stuff in Diagon Alley does not affect anything; it's purely for fun. You can use it in chatrooms and class rooms and things like that. Someday, we hope you will actually use the materials purchased there.

3) The Common Rooms are for MEMBERS of that house, ONLY! Please refrain from going to other common rooms besides your own.

4) After the elections of the first prefects, passwords will change once every two to three weeks.

5)For now, there is no distinction between years. Since this is a new rpg, most everyone will be first years, except those who I tell them to be. Soon, we will implement a year-by-year basis.

6) To get started after joining, go to login, and enter your user name and password, then after logging in click enter the world of harry potter.

7) We will SOON (after prefect elections) make a school year. (I.e. [not set in stone] a term will be 2 months, holiday for a week, another 2 months or term, then summer for one month.) Coordinators will help decide this.

PLEASE do not visit other houses' common rooms! It completely defeats the whole purpose of my rpg. Don't do it!! The only exceptions are if you find a password sheet lying around and it is important to and adventure I have set up on my RPG. Otherwise NO!!

HIRING: The Ministry is now hiring. Currently, I amlooking for writers on the The Daily Prophet staff. Once we get enough submissions, we have a monthly edition of The Daily Prophet. APPLY to virtualhogwarts@email.com. The Ministry of Magic pays 15 Galleons an article.
